Brass band and Balkan Off-Beats

For the opening of SOMAPHON Festival, the Halle-based brass band Frohe Zukunft brings danceable brass sounds and euphoric energy to Stéphane-Hessel-Platz. Twelve musicians combine distorted guitars, rumbling bass, brilliant-to-brutal trumpets, raw saxophones and steady offbeats into Balkan beats, psychedelic soundscapes, polka and a touch of punk.
